There's a total of 15 Sections or chapters in this book & manual, with constructive guidelines established in free form at the beginning of each section, followed by activity worksheets & functional frameworks containing formularized guidelines pertaining to the activity requirements and key functions emphasized under each particular Section.
The framework logic guidelines accompanying the activity worksheets encompass every aspect of the functions involved. For the sake of simplicity and quick reference, each framework logic guideline page is organized into three basic categories that focus on the conceptual & categorical facets and also on the feasibility factors in actual practice. There are specific points of reference emphasized in each category, dealing first with the theoretical & operational elements connected with the activity & functional requirements involved, secondly with the systematical
& departmental aspects of the activity to be conducted, and thirdly with the
psychological & functional ramifications pertaining to the specific activity and
desired results.
The "Preface" before the Table of Contents at the beginning of the book is more lengthy than usual, intended by the author as a section in itself for realistically setting the stage with regards to the importance of the overall subject matter and the scope and extent of the material covered in subsequent sections. The "Epilogue" contained in Section #15 is intended as a reminder of key factors, not just a summation of material covered. In effect, there's a certain flow of the free form guidelines in each Section, from the "Preface" to the "Epilogue". In order to simplify the use of this publication on a regular basis as a reference handbook and training tool pertaining to the multitude of departmental functions and activities necessary in any business, there are "Table of Contents" in each section, listing the functional activity frameworks that follow immediately after the free form procedural guidelines and outline of key perspectives.
These "Table of Contents" are secondary and are in addition to the general
"Table of Contents" at the beginning of the book which simply identifies each
section categorically. The "Appendix" in Section #15 can also be used as a quick
reference for locating activity worksheets in connection with specific topics &
headings.
All in all, the extensive material contained in this book & manual is intended for enhancing any CEO's or business Owner/Manager's business development pursuits and day to day operations management efforts, embracing overall business & organizational and financial matters, including the recruitment & training process, marketing & sales activities, promotions & advertising campaign innovations, operational reorganizations and departmentalization & systematization formats, progressive expansions & diversification and acquisition & disposition functional frameworks, as well as other business & administrative functions and inclusive management responsibilities.
There is a very simple formula that will make it quite easy to relate to every aspect of this book & manual. You have to get past the specialty aspects of your business and concentrate on your business as a whole. You will find that the actual business development & operations management functional requirements are quite similar, if not virtually the same, in every type and every size business, once you get past the product or specialty aspects.
In order to quickly recognize and be able to relate to such similarities and to also learn to focus on the continuous organizational and business operational, as well as the repetitive financial growth development functional requirements connected with your business, you will have to isolate your particular business specialty ramifications and consider the specialty aspects only as a secondary,
not a primary matter of concern. For some people that may not be as easy as it sounds. According to the author's realistic perspectives, it so happens that when it comes to matters pertaining to their business, most CEOs and business Owner/Managers are used to thinking in terms of their specialty first and foremost, often relegating crucial matters pertaining to their business as a whole, especially in connection with organizational and financial business matters, to secondary areas of consideration. Such areas rarely get
ample time devoted for growth development purposes in the course of day to day operations, thereby limiting the degree of any possible accomplishments in relations thereto.
This kind of reverse thinking might easily be mistaken to be very much in order, especially since the fixation on the specialty line, product, or service, is what probably got the CEO or the Owner/Manager into the business in the first place. But in reality, this kind of reverse thinking is a major contributing factor to the causes connected with the limitations of most businesses, usually evident by their actual growth to only a certain point, beyond which most CEO's or Owner/Managers find it virtually impossible to get. Consequently, after certain number of years of operations, most such businesses pretty much stay in the same place or at the same level of business, with only the usual fluctuations reflecting general economical factors from year to year. As the years go on, it becomes increasingly obvious that the lack of continual growth after certain points offers little or no buffer against the eventually economical changes that can drastically effect the financial condition of any business.
To avoid this, takes a great deal of time and effort, beginning with the necessary adjustments in mentalities and how matters are perceived. You will undoubtedly have to realign to the fact, that, first there is the business, which has specific functional requirements when it comes to business development and operations management, and then, there is the specialty of the business, which requires your particular expertise. In other words, place the matters regarding your business specialty into secondary areas of consideration. The organizational and financial aspects should always come first in your mind, and the specialty and business operations aspects should come second, not first.
Once you make this simple mental adjustment, you'll be amazed at how much extra time you'll have on your hands that you can devote to the functional requirements necessary for business growth development and for organizing your business to reach greater financial plateaus. Creating such extra time on a regular basis will be imperative for being able to make full use the formulas and framework guidelines contained in this informative reference book & manual.
The author's intent in writing this book was to enable any CEO or Owner/Manager to learn more about the ways of operations and the means of business growth development so that they can more effectively train others in their business and inject more productive procedural & functional activity frameworks to systematize every department of their operation. Drawing on the knowledge developed through his 30 years of business & professional experience in practically every field and industry, it took the author 2 solid years to complete this book.
You can be sure that the author of this book has succeeded in bringing to light a wealth of formulas that not only make sense in relations to every aspect of business operations, but also in relations to business development. He has realistically laid key management formularization methods open to view in a manner that makes them relatively easy to learn. He has also formulated and organized this book in a way that enables multiple uses as both a reference handbook and operations manual, with constructive and practical framework layouts necessary for productivity enhancement and staff training. Within the pages of this book, he has also laid out the functional requirements in key areas and in connection with departmental activities, simplifying the systems and procedural processes connected with achieving optimum results in the course of business operations and in connection with business & financial growth development pursuits.
Although this book offers something for everyone involved in business, whether as an owner, partner, manager, or employee or independent contractor, particularly those who wish to learn about the different realms of business or are involved in training others in any capacity, or people who simply wish to be more productive on the job and reach a higher level of perspectives in connection with feasibility aspects and functional ramifications connected with business activities, it is nevertheless primarily directed to the Chief Executive Officers of major corporations and the Owner/Managers of business enterprises of any size, whether small or large, in any field or industry. Whatever category you fit into in this respect and whatever your purposes and business objectives may be overall, this book, probably more than any other you may find on the subject, most assuredly offers constructive formulas that could help you to make a difference in your business and would be in your best interest to learn. It also offers practical frameworks to improve operations and effectively train staff members of different departments, in addition to constructive systems & formats that can be used to increase business volumes and improve on results in the course of operations and business pursuits.
